I have tried several time to install the hot fix on a version 7.2.2 dnn instance to no avail. Dnn_SecurityHotFix20171_01.00.01_Install

I start the install it seem like it is being uploaded the screen flashes a couple of times and comes back as if nothing took place. I check and nothing did take place. Install logs are clear, log resources are clear. I need to add, the instance was hacked and recovered, that is when I tried to install the hot fix. 

The hack was a youtube video embedded into the index.htm file. none of my other DNN instances have an index.htm file. 

I have installed it on other instances with no issue but not on another version 7.2.2.

All help will be appreciated.

I finally as able to upgrade DNN as you suggested. Still the security hot fix 01.02 would not install. I will try to upgrade to DNN 8 and retry.
