Dear DotNetNuke Users,

Please help.

How can one make all Registration settings editable in Admin?

That is, in my DotNetNuke 8.0.3 site at...

> Admin, > Site Settings, > User Account Settings, > Registration Settings,

...the following settings are not-editable...

Requires Unique Email:
False

Password Format:
Hashed

Password Retrieval Enabled:
False

Password Reset Enabled:
True

Min Password Length:
7

Min Non Alphanumeric Characters:
0

How can one make those settings editable?

Please advise.

Thanks.

please note that these settings configure an included 3rd party component. if you modify any value, please make sure to test it working fine with DNN in all conditions.

....

Sebastian,

That is a VERY good point about testing.

For about a few weeks now, I have changed the settings and they do seem fine.

I did notice at the beginning, right after the change, that a log message was showing up about "duplicate email address" in the site log, even though (as far as I could tell) there were not duplicate email addresses in the system, and I think it was some kind of cache somewhere as it worked its way out of the system after a few rebuild, deployments, resets, reboots, since the change.

Thanks.
