Hi, When I use the DNN search, the search returns Localhost addresses as results (which of course lead to a dead link) . There are also some good results in the list (with the actual website domain) , but the localhost results need to be gotten rid of. Does anyone know where I can get info about the Seach module, or know how to fix this issue?

Thanks
Tom

Tom,

do you have localhost somewhere in the host headers/web site aliases?

Happy DNNing!

Thanks Michael. that was the problem.
One more question about Site Aliases - Is there a way to change which one is Primary ? I have two aliases - one is primary and has an "edit" pencil, the other one doesn't have an "edit" pencil . How do I edit that one?

Thanks

Tom,
You cannot edit the Alias you are currently using while browsing site Settings.
You need to use a different alias to edit this one.
Note: You can only have one primary site alias (and one per language in multilingual sites). If you choose a different one to be primary, the currently primary alias will get this flag be unchecked.
