Hello,

I've been having some difficulty with moduel development, largely because I can't seem to find documentation for the API that DotNetNuke exposes to modules; every time I want to do something, I have to glean it from the voluminous module creation guide (which is hit or miss at best -- the guide strikes me as a bit informal), existing modules, or tutorials, which is time-consuming when it actually works. Does an exhaustive API documentation exist, or do most people largely retool existing modules to their own uses?

Thanks in advance.

It's hard to imagine people developing new modules when it seems like none of the necessary methods for interacting with DotNetNuke from a module are documented. Does this API documentation truly not exist, or am I just unable to find it?

Thanks again; sorry to bump my own thread, but I do need to know this, unfortunately.

I have also been unable to find the API docs and would appreciate anybody giving us a link to them/it.

The code is decorate with XML comments, these can be used to create the API documentation (at various points we used vbcommenter http://www.gotdotnet.com/workspaces/workspace.aspx?id=112b5449-f702-46e2-87fa-86bdf39a17dd and NDOC http://ndoc.sourceforge.net/ to create CHM files of these, but I can't locate a recent one at present). If I get a chance I'll create one tommorow.
