Hello,

I'm using DNN 9.1.1. I've got a couple of questions about the import/export functionality (at Personabar - Settings - Import/Export) that the documentation doesn't seem to cover.

  1. When I export a site, and tell it to include extensions, should I expect all of them to be installed when I import that data into a clean installation of DNN?
  2. Related to the above, when I export a site which uses 3rd party extensions (e.g. OpenContent), should I expect their content to be exported, too?

Neither of these things seems to work for me. Are they "out of scope" or am I running into bugs?

For the next person who comes across this:

If I remember correctly, the answer to question 1 was yes, but we had a bit of a messed up database which stopped it from working correctly. Additionally, newer releases of DNN have a few Import/Export bug fixes which might help.

The answer to question 2 was the module has to support the relevant import/export APIs for it to all to work properly - https://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/ipor.... At the time of writing, OpenContent partially supports it - it works for the main content, but it does not export Additional Data.
