So, I had configured a site using 9.1, uploaded some content, gave some admin trainings to the client who is using it, and all was well.

Upgraded to 9.1.1, and had not used the file manager/site assets/global assets module myself.  Early this week, one of the admins I trained mentioned getting a "No permission" error when she tried to upload files.

I tried to upload  files as a user with host permissions, and I got a different error ("Value cannot be null.  Parameter name: folder").

Interestingly, if I add a Links module to the site and add a "File on your site" link, I can use the upload buttons there with no problem and put files in whichever folder I choose.

I don't see any errors in the site log corresponding to the upload failures in the file manager.  It appears that folder creation still works.

Anybody seen anything like this before?

Have you looked at the permissions assigned to the folder in question?

To answer your larger question, I have not seen this. But, I do have a dim memory of needing to check permissions.

We experience the same issue. We can only upload files with Internet Explorer. I can't upload files with Chrome, MS Edge or Firefox. It is very annoying - Internet Explore crashes most of the time when trying to open it.
