Hi Team,

I am facing content

localization

issues after upgrade to DNN 9.1.1.

I have upgraded my DNN site to 9.1.1 , my old site was in DNN 7.4.1 which was using Apollo page localization which is third party module for multilingual support . But now they have stopped upgrade so  no more support for DNN 9.1.1. Can you please suggest does  DNN itself support multilingual support without any third party support .

Please reply I am right now not able to switch from Swedish to English .

DNN 9 has multilanguage capabilities built in, but they are totally different in implementation - DNN content localization uses copies of each page for each language and tries to handle synchronization of modules on the page.
In order to use this feature, you will need to uninstall Apollo page localization and enable content localization in website Settings > Languages. Make sure to have "copy all pages" checked and you may find a new tab in language management as well as in page settings to manage your translated pages and modules.

Note: DNN content localization is still unable to handle modules that include multilingual features appropriately.

Hi Sebastian,

Using the DNN 9 built in multilanguage capabilities would require a lot of rework on the application end. Do you know if Apollo plans to upgrade their plugin to support DNN 9 version. Or are there any other plugins either free/ paid available which are similar to Apollo and can help.

Any guidance here would be helpful.

Thanks,
