Would putting a file that has been edited in the same folder as the file that has been compiled for a module execute the code or do I need to compile the files so there is only a .aspx file?

I am wanted to test some changes without having to build and it has been a long time since I have been active in doing so.  It seemed like you could in the past put an edited .cs file in the same folder as the .aspx file and it would read the .cs file over the one that is in the .aspx file so you can see results of what you edit on the fly.

Does work like this I am trying to dig up the answer appreciate the help.

In general, you should always follow a development approach that compiles your code in a way that can be versioned, packaged, and distributable across environments. For quick troubleshooting instances, you can do what you suggest. We have the video below that illustrates how.
