I'm trying to ask a question on the forums and I need to upload a screen capture. The Insert Media / Image Manager does not allow me to upload or select an image to upload. I've tried it on Google Chrome and Edge.

Andre,

You are correct. A while back when there was a security issue with the Telerik components the ability to upload media was removed. Updating the forums and overall site is a task that the Awareness Advisory Group is taking on. Hopefully fixes will be made in the near future.

In the meantime, if you want to post an image, just upload it to a server somewhere and reference here in the forum. When I need to do that I simply toggle this editor to HTML mode and and insert the location of the image between the quotes.

Hi, thank you. Why not use the industry standards in editing like TKEditor. It's a quick fix.

DNN is using CKEditor, which is an "industry standard". However, the upload component needs to be implemented in the interface to our platform and the one used for the forums module is using an outdated version of (industry standard) controls, we still need to replace - but support for this forum has been sunsetted years ago.
