Hi Steve

I had tried installing the repository from 4.33 just to be sure but got the same results so Thank you very much for the detailed information you supplied. It helps a lot.

I do not have any template files in the portal folders (4.02 upgraded to 4.32)  I will try again and hopefully your assuption will be wrong.

Thanks again.

Ian

I am having the exact same problem. This is a brand new DNN load with the most current Version : 03.03.02

The Templat file has the correct entry in it:

 <Object>
  <Token>[FILE]</Token>
  <Settings>
   <Setting>
    <Name>Required</Name>
    <Value>false</Value>
   </Setting>
  </Settings>
 </Object>

 and it is still responding with the Red Text that the file is required.

I also Did a manual download of the current Repository build 3.1.10.15283 and uploaded it to the portal. It is still forcing the file to be uploaded. What can I do to help you in troubleshooting this?

Thanks for the info lapinzon. I don't remember recompiling when I was testing the enhancement but it's possible that I accidently launched DNN from Visual Studio at some point by mistake. I'll let Steve know if he doesn't see this.
