Bump!

Just curious if anyone has AD running without the above error on DNN 4.3.3?

I was successful in upgrading to the new source but I have experienced something similar to these posts in the past. It had to do with not migrating the <MachineKey> encryption / decryption keys when I upgraded.  As far as the display name I hacked my dbo.AddUsers stored procedure as explained in this thread. http://dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/-1/threadid/12879/scope/posts/Default.aspx

I managed to get my users auto created thanks to the "...for beginners like me" thread  but now I'm not getting the DNN roles synchronized with the AD groups.  I've checked everything I can think of and it still doesn't work.  Does it work for anyone?

When you say "the new source", are you referring to DNN 4.3.3 or the latest AD project source?  In my case, this site started life as a 4.3.1 site, and I just used the Upgrade packages, so I can't imagine that the encryption keys would be an issue.

Well,

Upgrade to 4.3.4 doesn't seem to help either, so maybe there just hasn't been time to look at this yet.
