So if a mobile app has a new user, can we get registered that use to the DNN database at the same time?

Please, can you advise me, do we need to use the same database for the mobile app and dnn database? What is the best practice?

Thank you very much for your great support.

I don't know all requirements of your project, but I think it's better to set up two databases.
Mobile app at user registration process can trigger request to DNN WebAPI method that will create user in DNN.

Thank you very much, Barry. Your support is much appreciated and very helpful.

We will get the Mobile App new user registrations to the DNN web application and also we need to display products of the DNN web application the mobile App. Basically, this is the main requirement.

So can we use a separate MSSQL new database for the mobile App? If yes, I can allow this to do for the Mobile App developer. Do you recommend this for a mobile App? MSSQL database or a mobile app? Or any other good solution for the mobile App?

Thank you again.

Create two separate databases.
This will create two independent systems (DNN website and mobile app) with good stability and scalability.
