Hi Tareq, not sure what is happening with the search but it looks like something has a empty string and should not.

Since you have already cleared the search and rebuilt, then my guess is that some module is passing the search crawler a wrong value. Can you take a look in /portals/_default/logs and see if you get more details there?

As for the second issue, that usually happens when in a webforms module uses viewstate validation but some frontend code modifies one of those validated controls, this is a security measure. In order to isolate what is causing it, you would need to switch that page to the default theme and start removing modules one by one until it works, that last thing removed is probably the culprit.

Also, what was the upgrade history, was this 9.1.1 upgraded to 9.2.2, was it 8.0.4 directly to 9.2.2, etc.

I don't know about the "community dying" trigger, but the community has been steadily growing in every meaningful metric we track over the past 2 years.

As for the search issues, one thing that I've run into in the past is that the scheduled job(s) related to search may have kept incorrect "server name" value(s) over time after the website gets moved or migrated.  This would in some cases make DNN think or attempt to run a scheduled job on a server that no longer exists (as if it were in a web farm).  A different or empty machine name may be there.  Update it, recycle, remove old search artifacts, restart the application pool, then let the search index go again.

Thank you Daniel, you pointed me to the right direction found the form plugin that was causing the issue. Fixing that fixed the search as well.

Awesome, happy it solved the issue. Like Will said, the community has been very active but people are also sometimes very busy, so you have to give it a couple days for replies at times. Hope it brings you new nope in Dnn. We are alive and well.
