Hi,

This is my first time using multiple languages and localization in DNN.

I can't seem to find a DNN9.2.2 "how to" or best practice guidelines.

Can anybody confirm that there are no bugs with this feature in DNN9.2.2.

Everything I have googled has screenshots and instructions for previous versions of DNN.
I just want to make sure I understand what the functions of the tick boxes and links on the localizaiton page does and how best to use it.

Thanks

PJ

Pieter-Jan,

the checkboxes mark a module as translated, and the link defines if the content from the module on the default language page is taken (which could be useful when you have only a picture there or something), or if you create localized content (then it is un-linked). (Well, at least I think so...)

Happy DNNing!

Thanks Michael.
It does help to confirm what I thought it does. :)

I now have a different problem.
The country flags shows perfectly when I am logged in, but when logged out they do not show.
When logged in, I can customize the content for each Flag-page combination.

When logged out, the language culture shows in the address bar, but the flags to change language is gone.

Any ideas?

Pieter-Jan,

they show when the pages in the other language are published.

Hi Michael,

I seem to be missing a step here.
What do I do to publish a page?
Tick the "Published Box" and click on the "Update Localization" button?
