Giving a little context.

I have a DNN 4.9.2 intranet site with approx 50,000 files totalling 20GB. There is also 5000+ pages. The site is around 12+ years old and we are in the process of upgrading to DNN 9.2.2.

Over the many years we have accumulated a lot of files including files which have been de-linked from pages.

I would like to audit the files, either way trying to link from Pages to files or file hit count etc. Is there a way I can do this?

Ultimately I would like to reduce the number of files on the local file system.

So far I have identified files in the Files table, Also found Fileticket references in the HTMLText page but nothing linking the two.

Running a broken link checker won't work.

I suspect a large number of files on the local disk are orphaned, I want to get rid of all/most of those files.

The crawler would simply log URL's with the FileTicket hash, Still no way of identifying what files on the local disk are needed.

Only if I ran Process Explorer on the backend server and logged file activity however that seems ugly.

Is there a report you can run on the number of hits a file or file ticket gets?
