Forgive me if this has been previously posted - I'm new and spent about an hour searching through the forums and didn't see anything that looked familiar to my problem. The amount of info here is overwhelming!

I am brand new to DotNetNuke - just installed it and have been using it all morning. I felt I was really getting the hang of it, but I'm afraid I screwed something up. I've inserted several modules on pages and have had no problem - until about an hour ago. Everytime I try to insert a module on a page, the existing modules get reordered (they actuallly appear to disappear, but I can get them back by clicking "move to bottom" through them until they all show up again). The new module I try to add (Text/HTML in this case) never does show up. So even if I try to add Text/HTML in the ContentPane, the 3 Text/HTMLs in the RIGHTPANE get all jumbled, and the one I add to the ContentPane never does show up. Aaargh. Very frustrating.

I believe it is a result of something I've done wrong (like maybe clicked the "Set As Default Settings" or "Apply to All Modules" in the Settings properties for one of the modules I inserted, but I can't figure out how to find if that is true, or how to undo it if it is.

Any help would greatly be appreciated as I am now dead in the water until I get this fixed.

Thanks in advance,

Penny

I assume, you need to uncheck the "show on all pages" check box in module settings. If this does not help try to create a new page and delete the current one, don't forget to clear the bin afterwards.

Thank you for the very fast response. I began following your advice and ended up deleting all modules on the page, and then recreating them. It worked! Wish I knew what I did to screw it up so I wouldn't do it again. But I'm happy to be back in business.

Many thanks,

Penny
