It says access denied when I try to download the review program docs. Mainly I just wanted to know if we are required to use the dnn data provider wrapper, or if we can just bypass all that and use our own data objects?

I've put a request in to update the permissions for that page. In the meantime heres a list of fundamental requirements

Modules for DotNetNuke must meet all of the following requirements:

1.       Install without error

2.      Uninstall correctly

3.      Supports use of ObjectQualifier

4.      Supports use of DatabaseOwner

5.      Supports Virtual Portals

6.      Supports Globalization

7.      Includes End User License Agreement (EULA)

Cathal,

I don't see any value at all for an enduser if there is no security audit done on those modules.

Thanks for the newsletter comment -- seems a few of the core members are using it. But, security how? I'm not too thrilled with how security works from both developer and end-user point of view... but I'd have to go into a long statement to explain why... it's too late here to go into it.
