I'm pleased to say that I managed finnaly to create a working RTL friendly vertical menu, by patching only a little dnnmenu javascript file.
Basically, RTL support for vertical menu means that the menu is located at the right side of screen, and it is always expanded left, never right.
A patched version is located at my website http://amitleibov.info
Jon, I would suggest it to your next dnnmenu release.

Adding RTL support to the DNNMenu is on my to do list.  Thanks for providing the community with an interim solution.
