I was wondering what the best way is to allow non-admin users the ability to access the User management features.

Prior to v3.3.x and 4.3.x there was a free 3rd party module that would do this.
I've tried to just copy the controls into a folder in DesktopModules and add a ModuleDefinition- but this doesnt work very well/at all.

Any suggestions?

I'd suggest you buy either the UCanuse or DNN Masters modules for this.

I'd rather avoid that if I can. I'm not looking for anything special- just the core functions.

There used to be a free module available.

I am able to make the UserAccounts functionality work. But apart from being able to view the users- I was not able to get the edit/roles functionality working.

I was wondering whether anyone had done this before and could point me in the right direction.
