Hi Mauricio,

Thanks for your continuing fantastic work with the FCK editor.

I know that I can have both the FCK and the FTB editors installed on my primary portal, however, is there a way to specifiy which editor will be used per sub portal? There is obviously only one place to specify the editor in the web.config... I'm wondering if there is a way around that, because I'd prefer to leave a couple of sub portals on the FTB editor.

Thanks for any info on this,
Rob

Sorry, there are many limitations inside the current editor provider base class

We are working to enhance it and maybe new options will come from this. It could take some time

I forgot to mention... I brought up the query because I've seen modules such as Active Forums that let you choose which editor will be used. That made me think it was possible to run both.

Thanks for the reply,
Rob

You can create a module that create each editor directly. So you will be creating the code that is not inside the current provider base class. But if you want to make those changes for all normal modules that use the general texteditor control, then you will have to wait until the base class is modified
