I have installed DNN 3.3 on a remote server.  I am able to access the site using localhost.  But when I try to access from my local machine, using www.domain.net/dotnetnuke the address swithches to localhost/dotnetnuke in the browser, and it obvioulsly can't find the site because it is on the remote server.  Any ideas.

Thanks in adance

DNN used localhost to install itself cause that's what you typed in the URL when calling it the first time. Now it needs to know it should also accept the domain URL. Using localhost go to Host Settings and add the URL in the Portal Alias section.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?
