We're currently analysing the requirements for the module; collecting wishes for features and modeling this. Also we're looking at how the module can integrate with the galery. This probably involves some 'core' design issues. It might take some time (> 1 month) I guess, as you say, we're volunteering. But if you can lend a hand, it might go faster But also if not, we do our best!

Thank you for that ETA. I would love to donate my time with you guys and help... Theres but just one little detail in only starting as a developer I am upgrading myself from a designer to developer. I have reference for C# and VB. I am well versed in actionscript and am trying to learn vb. Ive been doing some code enhancement to existing modules succesfully but havent got a complex module made enterily by myself but im working on that as I write this.

I dont know how I can help without slowing you guys down but if youve got an idea. Or some work I can do, I can surely pitch in my time. I have to pay some karma for all the good DNN is doing for my family lol!!!

Hi, I've just started using DNN and love it. I might be being dumb here and missed it but the only thing i can think of to add to above suggestions is the ability to apply image map to image module, allowing people to click images as links to other pages.

If already possible then please ignore my comments as a learner.

Cheers

James

Sorry forgot to add, would be happy to lend a hand in anyway possible.  I have been developing and project manager with web/win apps in vb.net and SQL server for 4 years. But never in an open source environment.

How can I help?

James

We'll incorporate that one in our wish-feature-list (you'll probable see it appear in the model soon).

Please note that we're taking a broad-view approach now (trying to discover as much wishes-features as possible), after which we'll prioritize and start diving deeper into details.

So any more ideas still welcome!
