There's a setting in Admin -> Site Settings for Splash Page, but I've never used it.  Someone please tell me - will DNN automatically redirect from here to the HomePage after x seconds?  Do I need a skin with no menu?  How's it done?

No it won't re-direct automatically, but you can do it in site settings by putting in a Meta-Refresh command.

It's up to you how to implement it, but yes, a Splash Page generally means no menus.

Hi Sam,

I have used this for a site. No, DNN will not redirect to the home tab after x seconds. You have to provide a link of some sort. Be it click an image or a text link, etc. Drop a html or link module in. You don't have to have a no menu skin, but it would look better without it.

Copy the skin file you like, rename it to splash.htm or .ascx and edit it to remove the menu token. I would also set this page as a hidden child of the home page as you probably don't want it to show once the user is past the splash page.

HTH's,

Dave
