HI all,
We have created site in dnn successfully. We have created role called "Editor" which having the permission to change the content part of the site on line. We are using Text/Html module for content part. We have given edit permission for "Editor" to change the content part on every page. But the permission is not working on some page and in some page it is working.

Please let me know how could i resolve the above problem so that "Editor" can edit the content on every page.

Thanks
Ashok

Module caching is turned on by default in the Text/Html module settings.

Set that to zero and your Editor Role will be able to edit the module.

The next release of DNN will fix this so that the module can be cached and edited by roles that have edit access other than administrator.

In a portal that I upgraded to v4.3.3 this feature still doesn't work even though I've made sure the caching on text/html modules was set to zero.  Will the next version be available as an upgrade to fix this?

Thanks,

Theo

Yes.

But it should work now if caching is set to 0 in the module.
