Hello i was using Power Downloads module to store and publish 3d animations collection.

However i decided to go with Repository Module.

But after install/configure it, im unable to choose existing files on the host.

I have approximately 100 files on /media folder on the host and the file sizes are large

Is there any solution to add them to repository module without downloading/re-uploading them?

I made a search on the forums but i received object reference error.

Regards,
Green

At this point you can't pick existing files but it is on the list as a future enhancement. Sorry. :(

I guess you could write a script to move them from Power Downloads but you'd really have to be comfortable with SQL as there's a number of Repository tables that have to be considered as well as the changes to the filename that Steve makes for extra security.

can you perhaps upload a small placeholder file to the repository and when it has done its bit, swap the filenames on the server with the file you want it to show?

I'm just speculating.
