I have also splitted into multi-categories and also make a separate brand table instead of manufacturer since manufacturer is not a normalized table. Does somebody has code on a submenu tree with multiple categories? I have let some company made one, but without any success. It misses the edges and is rather slow since the technical concept uses catching for every tree branch instead of collecting all the data at once from the database. I have seen post of Michael about DNNTreeview. That would be nice start or beter restart So contact me if you have source available.

I have code for a thumbnail with watermark and resizing. Have recommended price, productvariants..and I am looking in a way to have custom controls in the product detail list (I have also productlists per category instead of one per catalog). I would like to load a control in the product detail list with additional information. I have it ready, but i do not now to pass variables to it in a global way. I am thinking of adding a module actions menu for every custom control in which I can do the "module settings" of this custom control. Does somebody have hints on how to do that without interfering with the store?
