Hello,

i'm trying to create a new parent-Portal, but i get all the error "Error configuring Child Portal". Some days ago, i could create a new portal, i had just problems with an exported template. Since today, i can't create any portal. I have the newest version, because we have installed it last week.

I'm receving the same error when I try to create a new child portal on a 4.3.4. This is a show stopper for me.

I'm receiveing the same error on an instance of 4.0.1. I have been able to add them in the past but no matter how I try to add one now I get the same error.

Hi Harry,

My issue was related to the type of installation I was on. I was doing a manual installation on GoDaddy, and did not have proper permissions to create a folder on the root of my installation.

Verify you have proper permission on your DNN root to create the folder.

If your installation is specific to GoDaddy, I have a workaround posted on the thread of "Manual installation on GoDaddy".

- Andre
