Any ideas on how to reset the # of views and clicks on a vendor banner without deleting it and starting over?
During the process of creating and testing the banner ad, we generated 50 views and 2 clicks and it hasn't even gone live yet.  This seems like a logical feature of the module, but I can't find any such option.

You can reset them in the Banners table in the DB.

If you want to reset ALL views and impressions for ALL vendors and all their ads you can use this

UPDATE Banners SET Impressions=0, Views=0, ClickThroughs=0

***Caution: If you don't want to reset them for all then you need to put criteria on this query to limit it to a specific vendorid and/or bannerid.

I agree, it would be nice to have a reset feature in the UI.  Please add the request to Gemini at http://support.dotnetnuke.com

All that being said, are you really worried about those few impressions and clicks throwing the numbers off? :)

Thanks for the quick response.
Where is the DB? Is that an area I, the Administrator, have access to?

As for the # of view, this is our first month of paid advertising with a vendor who has paid for only 5000 impressions, we want to be certain we are able to track the info correctly and provide accurate reports.  As a work around, we just increased the limit on the number of impressions.

No, you can't get to it as an admin of the site.  You'll have to talk to the person hosting it for you.

You may be aware of this, but I wrote an article on Vendor Affiliate Reporting here... some people are not aware this functionality even exists!
