Using the links module allows you to specify if you want that option, but when setting one of the main "pages" to use a link it doesn't offer that as an option. Is there a way to get a menu link to open in a new window?

The same question also applies to opening a pdf file in a seperate window from one of the menu type pages as well.

I'm in need of this same functionality.  The client wants to have a top-level menu called "Blog" that when clicked will open their blogspace.com blog in a new window and not navigate them away from their site.  Is there any way to trick DNN into doing this?

This didn't work.  I got a javascript error about a missing semicolon.  Tried adding one to the end and I still get the same error.  Tried adding one to the front, same error...  I'm using DNN 4.4.0.

I still do not have a solution for this.  Anyone got any other ideas?
