I am a super newbie to DNN and skinning. I created a skin in Fireworks/Dreamweaver and everything looks ok (...to me). I upload it onto my DNN 4 site and the css, tables, and all of that works just fine but my pictures are just broken links. I saw in some other free skins they put images as a background in the cell, but that didn't work either. I've tried putting them in an assets folder and linking them "assets/mypic.jpg" and having them in the same folder as the skin "mypic.jpg" both to no avail.

Has anyone else had this problem and/or can shed some light? Thanks for any kind of help!!

<%= SkinPath %> that needs to go in every image you use. The images that don't have this are ones displayed by CSS. So "assets/mypic.jpg"  should read "<%= SkinPath %>assets/mypic.jpg"

Try that.
