D'oh!  I guess I am out of luck.  I have VS 2005.  Does anyone else have the "fixed" version of this module while we wait for the new release?

I am sorry to report this, but I just installed v 3.03.06 of this module on DNN v 4.3.5 and the sort is still not getting saved.  :(

[EDITED]
When I attempt to change the default sort, it reacts as I would expect it to.  The page gets posted back and I then see the original page with the module.  However, the sort is not done and when I return to the Manage UserDefinedTable page, the settings are not chosen in the dropdown menus.

The only SP's I see in the DB are:

UserDefinedTable_AddData
UserDefinedTable_AddField
UserDefinedTable_AddRow
UserDefinedTable_DeleteData
UserDefinedTable_DeleteField
UserDefinedTable_DeleteRow
UserDefinedTable_GetData
UserDefinedTable_GetField
UserDefinedTable_GetFields
UserDefinedTable_GetRow
UserDefinedTable_GetRows
UserDefinedTable_SwapFieldOrder
UserDefinedTable_UpdateData
UserDefinedTable_UpdateField

The only Settings the I see were saved in the [ModuleSettings] table for this module are:

UDT_EditOnlyOwnItems - False
UDT_ForceCaptchaForAnonymous - False
UDT_ForceFiltering - False
UDT_ImageWidth - 100
UDT_URLFullPath - False
UDT_URLNewWindow - True

[/EDITED]

Sorry for the follow-up, but...

What settings are we supposed to see in the [ModuleSettings] table (field name, expected value) so I can manually make this change for right now?

Changes in the list view are intendedly not persisted for the module.

The sort settings in Manage Table are to be used to provide a default sort order, you need to specify both, sort field and sort direction.

I have no issues of applying them, do you use special field names or other special settings?

Hmmm...  I did not think that I was doing anything out of the ordinary.  The UDT I am speaking of has the following columns:

Name - Text
Position - Text
E-Mail - Email
Extension - Integer

When attemting to modify the sort, I simply choose "Name" in the "Sort" dropdown list, and then I choose "Ascending" in the "Order" dropdown list.  Following that I click the "Save Settings and Return" linkbutton.
