Hi!!

I want to have my site bilingual but I get some problems..

First of all I've tried to get an spanish language pack so my site can be in english and spanish too, but I realise it only changes the default text , the text I enter  manually(like the title of every link in the menu or the articles in my news section) , obbiously does not change. I've been thinking in a way to solve this problem and I have only been able to get a solution and is to get a duplicate of my site, one in spanish and the other one in english. I don't want to do that becaus is very tyring, is not confortable and I get a huge website.

I've got another solution but I don't know how to implement it... It is to put an article in both languages in the database and make the website know wich language I want and load one article or another. The same would happen in the links section. For example, I have the links module as a website menu. One of its links is for example a link to the forum, and I would like the web site to show the word FORUMS if you've chosen english or the word FORO if its spanish

I don't know if I've explained it correctly so if you don't understand what I'm asking for please reply me to explain it better.

So my question is: Does somebody knows a way to do that or a module that implements this case??

THANKYOU!!!!

you need 3rd party modules to accomplish this, e.g. the modules from Locopon or Apollo Software. You can have a look at DeutschNetNuke, to see the Apollo Solution and Locopon's MMLinks module at work. HTH.
