David thanks for your interest in DNN and your translations!
There's going to be some changes in this area in the comming months since we want to give more visibility to this area. For example: it is now very difficult to find the language packs since they're distributed in a number of user sites. We would like to centralize all these items in a common repository and give credit (and links, ...) to authors, but we need a simpler way to distribute lang packs. I know this is a bit against you, because people will donwload the files directly from our site, but once again, we think this is the best we can do for the community to easy the effort to localize DNN.

Questions:
Which is the position of the core TEAM about the communities which generate the Language Pack?
We are very happy to have these translations done! We have limited resources (in core team) so it's always helpfull to have this "outsourced". I know this has not been as much recognized as it should be, but now, with this new focused area on DNN localization I hope this will change for better. And of course, we would like to support international communities in all their efforts to spread the word on DotNetNuke, so please don't hesitate to ask whatever you need. We will do our best to support user communities in all we could.
A directory of international user communities is a think I'd really like to have.

Would it be possible to obtain the new versions of DotNetNuke before official launching?
(to be more reactive !)
This is something I've already proposed a few times. But the answer is not that simple! We don't want to distribute early releases of DNN without the right approach and a clear stance. We are not ready, yet, to support all the support questions that will come on using "not stable" versions of DNN.
Another possible approach I've been exploring would be to provide JUST the new core resource files so you could start the translation. This is actually the minimum you need to start translating, and then, when the final version is released only minor changes would be required.

I saw the restrictions on the use of the names "DotNetNuke" and "DNN" but the communities which work with and for DNN should have a "program" for them in order to be recognized. For example right to use the logos and another materials with less restrictions.
And why, not to have an "official" logo like "DotNetNuke, French community" (for example).
I think you'd better ask this question in the Marketing forum. Nik will provide a better answer than me, but I think most of this is covered on the "Trademarks and logo usage guidelines". I think a "DotNetNuke International Community" would be better, just not specify the language. But as I already told you, you'd better discuss this with Nik, this the lead in this area.
