Hi All,
I've worked some time with my DNN portal, and after some time I've got this error:


Error    101    Error parsing attribute 'enableEventValidation': Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Gallery, Version=3.0.11.3077, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.    C:\Data\VS2005\Project\DesktopModules\Forum\Integration\Integration_GalleryAddFile.aspx    4    

Error    102    File 'Integration_GalleryAddFile.aspx.vb' was not found.    C:\Data\VS2005\Project\DesktopModules\Forum\Integration\Integration_GalleryAddFile.aspx    4    60    C:\...\Project\

It worked just fine, I didn't change the code, I was only adding some modules, but now I can not start the portal at all.
Anyone has an idea?

Hi mujezin,

I am also having a similar problem when building my DotNetNuke Web application for the first time. I have about 10 errors in all, including the one ;

Error 1 File 'Integration_GalleryAddFile.aspx.vb' was not found. C:\DotNetNuke\Website\DesktopModules\Forum\Integration\Integration_GalleryAddFile.aspx 4 60 C:\DotNetNuke\Website\

Did you ever figure out the problem here?

Hi rstaunton,
it was long time ago, I can not remember any more :)
I think I had a problem because I was trying to develop dnn 3.0 modules with Visual Studio 2005 which is not possible, only with VS 2002. If I can remember I was working with an old tutorial from CodeProject, but maybe I am wrong.
If you are learning how to develop modules with VS 2005 take a look here. It helped me a lot and I didn't have any problems.
