hey folks!

i have some problems with the solpartmenu!

first of all, i can't get the menu seperators to be shown. i looked at jhoelz's thread but it didn't help me.

the following is in the skin.ascx:

<div><dnn:SOLPARTMENU runat="server" id="dnnSOLPARTMENU" seperatorcssclass="seperator" usearrows="false" menucontainercssclass="menu_container" rootmenuitemcssclass="rtmnit" rootmenuitemselectedcssclass="remnitsl" rootmenuitemactivecssclass="remnitac" rootmenuitembreadcrumbcssclass="remnitbc" menueffectsmouseoverdisplay="none" /></div>

and the following in the skin.css:

.seperator {

width: 3px;

height: 17px;

background: transparent url(Portals/_default/Skins/Rubicon/seperator.gif) repeat-x 0 0;

}

I have no idea why it isn't displayed.
That's the first big problem i have and the second one is the following.

I want to have different hover effects for every menu item. I want to have a blue background at the home item hover state and a red background at the customers item hover state? ya know what i'm talkin about?

so please help me!

thanks guys!

Dear prymus

Look at this thread and this one.
I think also that your path to the image is not write.
Perhaps this will help.

hey gvborre!

thanks for your answer, but i think i found a really individual solution. i simply viewed the DOM-Tree of the final outpout site and looked for a unique id of every menu item --> et voila: i found one. the whole menu is in a table and every menu item is in a separate table. and the <tr> tag of this separate table has a unique id, which i used, to select these table rows via css and give'em different colours on the roll-over-state.

I'm a little bit proud of myself, but just a little bit!

and i also fixed the thing with the seperator. i don't tell dnn via the separator="" attribute, which border it has to make, but i give every table-cell a border-left and a border-right attribute, because as mentioned above, i can select them seperately.
