I have a portal user who cannot access the editor Body field when creating a forum post. I log in as the user (on my computer) and have no trouble accessing the editor Body.

What could it be about the user's computer that might cause the default (DNN 4.3.3) FTBEditor to have trouble allowing the user to access the message Body? (he CAN access the Subject field)

Even when user selects Basic Text Box - still he cannot access the editor Body. He has the same problem on two different computers he owns; I saw the problem for myself on one of those computers.

If a problem can be solved, there's no use worrying about it.
If it can't be solved, worrying will do no good.

I returned to this user's computer yesterday and found the machine was old (Win 98; 56K dialup) running an old version of AOL.  It was while attempting to access the portal from within AOL's browser that the user could not access the forum message body, or click Update or Cancel, either.

I setup Internet Explorer 6.x and suggested that the user connect to AOL, minimize it, then open IE.  IE 6.x worked perfectly, allowing the user to access the forum message body, click Update and post.  The problem was resolved through an AOL workaround.
