Do you think it would be possible to use this code in an existing DNN setup somehow while waiting for the modules to integrate this function. By the way where can I find the code for the FormatEmail function.

you can easily change any module, you have the source code for. Just replace the display of email with formatted email and recompile the module.

My partner and I are hosting 2 different instances of DNN on webhost4life and have been for several years.  We are hosting multiple commercial and npo sites and have experienced few issues with them.  Overall we're very happy with their inexpensive shared hosting plans.  However, if you expect high traffic and want more control, I recommend going the dedicated server route with plans to farm your site.
