So here's the deal...

I just installed 4.3.4 on my GoDaddy premium plan, and I want to create multiple child portals for use on the same install.

After filling in the necessary fields, and pressing the create portal button, I get back "Error configuring Child Portal" and while it shows in my list, its not usable, and I get an error message when I try getting back to the details page on it:

Error: Site Settings is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.PortalManagement.SiteSettings.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Now I just installed DNN five seconds ago with the latest version (4.3.4). Why is this not working?

I need to have multiple child portals in order to proceed with my installation. It is currently a show stopper for me.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks.

I did a fresh install of 4.0.3. Verified that it was working correctly and then upgraded to 4.3.4. Verified 4.3.4 was working. DNN 4.3.4 install is in a folder named portal which is located off the root on my site.

When I create a child portal...

Portal Alias: "http://mysite.com/portal/mychildportal"
Home Directory: Default settings
Title: Description: Keywords: all contain text
Template: I have cycled through them all

Security Settings are filled in.

When I attempt to creat the child portal it returns "Error Creating Portal" and nothing else.
