When I create a new banner ad for a vendor and put that on a page - when the user clicks it it only links back to the same page where the banner was clicked.  I have checked and rechecked that I entered a URL for the vendor.  Any help?  I am running the latest production build.

Jeff,

Did you enter a URL for the Banner itself?

I am having the same problem described by jdeverter.  I have entered a URL for the vendor AND the banner.  When the banner is clicked, it does not go to the entered URL.  It seems to be going to /LinkClick.aspx?BannerId=2&VendorId=1.  The result is that it just refreshes the same page.

Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks.

Same problem here. I'm almost sure it's a bug because it only happens with child portals. I tested this with DNN 4.3.5 and the Banners module that comes with it and the result was that on a single portal everything works fine, in parent portals also works fine but in child portals it does not work.

Hope somebody fix this in later releases.

DNN rocks!!!!

Thanks, avvweb!  That was exactly the problem.  I was using a child portal before.  I just tested it with a single portal, and the banners work fine.
