Google use section tagging on pages which use these tags:
<!-- google_ad_section_start -->
<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

This can already be incorporated into each blog if you switch into the HTML and put a tag at the beginning and a tag at the end. These tags are also only of interest to people that run AdSense on the same page as the blog.

However, there may be other companies out there that allow tagging. Does Yahoo do it? MSN? etc...

I would like to be able to enter a pre- and post- tag that applies across all blogs. This would be a small area where you can enter raw HTML and it gets stuck just before and just after the blog. This can also be used to enter javascript or anything else link a table etc.

So this gives you ability to add a standard header or footer inside the blog. The reason that I want it is to ad the google_ad_sction tagging but I'm sure that everyone will be able to use it to optionally add anything they want at the start and end of each blog posting and change it at anytime.

I've entered this to our support tracking web so it doesn't get lost. Maybe we could implement something along this lines in a future. Thanks
