Hi Mujezin,

Did you solved the problem?
I have the same problem. I tried also by copying  the whole portal to a new virtual map in IIS 5.1 I and followed all the suggestions. If I start VS 2005 I can start with http://localhost /mydnn,  (this URL is automatically changed in http://localhost:1037 /mydnn ) but when I stopped the ASP.NET development Server port 1037 I get an error 'Can't view the page'. I supposed we do something wrong. Who can give the tip?

Hi Douven,
try this:
In Visual Studio select Website|Start Options. You should be able to select the specific server there.
I've got that as an answer in this thread, but I didn't try it. Right now I don't start a portal from VS at all. I copy it in the virtual folder and start it with IIS directly.
