I have downloaded and installed this twice tonight, but am still experiencing the same problems.

1) After adding the Repository Module to a page, I see nothing under Settings that looks like it is a place to specify the following:

Select what options you want to be available when a user uploads a file under Upload fields. If just Files is selected a user can only upload files, if just Images is selected then only images can be uploaded, if either Links (URLs) or Image Links (URLs) are selected a user can post a link to an external website when uploading files. (Default is both Files and Images are selected).

2) So after setting up the items that are under settings, if I try to upload anything, the module only accepts Images (probably because I could not see any settings for files).

3) Even if I wanted to upload an image, I can't because the Name field on the upload page does not accept input (I can't even get the cursor there).  Because there is no name, the module throws an error saying I must input my name.

4)  The settings section also seems to be missing a location to supply a default image.  It just says "No Image", but there is no field to suppy or choose an image.

There are no errors when I install the module.  I am running 4.3.4.

Something odd going on, for certain.

Hi Karen

1) The documentation needs to be updated. This is all handled by the templates now. My apologies for the documentation not being totally up to date. Our Repository team has recently shrunk to just two of us.

2) What template are you using? The default template accepts both files and images.

3) I'm guessing that you're logged in with host credentials. The field is not editable by design. There were changes to the DNN core where that field doesn't get filled in for users logged in with host credentials. Steve is aware of the issue and it should be fixed in the next version (hoping for a release around the end of August or early September).

4) Under No Image there should be a section called Link Type and an area to choose a file. That's where your No Image image is chosen. Are you not seeing anything there?

Do you need help updating the user documentation?

Do you mean repository skin?  If so, I was using the default skin.

I was logged in as host.  Logging in as another administrator seems to have cleared up all these problems.

4) Under No Image there should be a section called Link Type and an area to choose a file. That's where your No Image image is chosen. Are you not seeing anything there?

These showed up after changing login accounts.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Karen

If you're interested in helping out go to this page http://dotnetnuke.com/DotNetNukeProjects/tabid/824/Default.aspx. Steve's the project lead and is the one that would make any decision concerning new team members. I really appreciate the offer of help.

You were using the default Repository skin (you can choose different ones in the Repository settings) and you only saw an option to upload an image? Is this on a live site where I can see it in action?

There was, but after logging in as another admin everything seemed to fix itself.  Basically what it looked like was the normal upload screen, but without the field for File.  It included the field for image, with the browse button.

I'm thinking, though, that having a skin enforce a setting just seems odd to me.  Not necessarily bad, just not intuitive.
