Logo 

Hi I am totally new to ddn, and i really like the program, I have been able to change the color of the background, and id like to be able to change the logo.. Can someone tell me if theres a laymans tut out there on skinning?

or help me  resize the logo and skinning?

The logo is just an image.  Technically any size but you need it reasonable to look right.  Any image editing software can do this, then upload the new logo.

As for skinning, the docs in the Documentation download are a good start.  I like DNNCreative.com's tutorials as well, you have to pay but it's worth it.  I'm not fond of the DNN books out there and can't wait until Nina finishes her skinning book.  Professional DotNetNuke 4.0 has a skinning chapter that is a good reference but may not be for beginners, there's not really a good walkthrough in it.  DNN for Dummies is still months away.

Start by modifying the DNN-Blue or DNN-Grey skins in HTML.  Add a table row with a new content pane or move a few tokens to start and see what happens.  Eventually you have that "Aha!" moment and it gets easier.  Ask a lot of questions and really listen to the answers.
