bump / beg

Please could this (3.3) be made available (SourceForge or Project Downloads) and announced ?

Or at least some feedback indicating that it's not actually for release yet ?

this download was removed as it was a beta that suffered from a potential security issue, the faq team should be submitting to the release tracker soon, so it can be audited before release.

Is there any way we can track the status of this?  It just seems like everyone is waiting and has no visibility of it.

<sight>  It took me a while to find the final answer to the 3.3 FAQ release mystery, and from this thread, it seems that a bunch of other people wasted their time too.  (I'm sure many more that did not actually post here, did the same.)

How difficult would it be to amend the blog announcing the 3.3 release with:

"Due to a problem, we've delayed the release.  We'll post an update when we're ready."

It's really a disservice to everyone to make them hunt around to find out what's going on, when it would take 30 seconds to make that post.  Sorry for being critical, but I don't know how else to say it.

Best regards, and hope to see it soon...

I've emailed the project team and asked them to submit the updated version into the release process.
