Well, i have a problem with the conversion of the Help to Oracle because the OracleDataProvider Adminis the GUID type as Byte Array and the GUID conversion try a exception of type conversion.

I save the GUID type in Oracle as RAW(16).

My Version of DNN is the 3.0.13 with this OracleDataProvider, and i do the changes to the DNN for use the Help module an he run OK but i add a new category and generate the exception for the type and in the debug i see the error in the CBO.FillObject() method exactly in createObject.

Please help me.

Note: What's the reason of the use of THE GUID TYPE?; In another version's that type can removed or changed?

Which Oracle Data Provider are you using? I don't recall a Help Module for Oracle dp for 3.0.13. It is going to come out for the first time in 3.3.4 with the oracle data provider (AcuitiDP).

The GUID is an identifier that has been used in several places in the core as well as with the ASP Membership Provider. There is a oracle implementation of GUID which the Oracle DP uses which depends on the GUID being passed in via the Proc itself or created on the backend.

You can use whatever implementation you want - at the end just remember that you're creating a unique identifier.

The GUID is used in the import/export process.  It is so that you can update your help locally and then import onto another instance and update existing help and only add new items.
