Hello,

I would like to fire the event Click with callback mechanism instead of postback, as PopulateOnDemand. Is it possible ?

I can access to DotNetNuke.WebControls source if necessary.

Thank you .

A client callback does not run the normal page event lifecycle, so the click event wouldn't make much sense.  However, you do have the PopulateOnDemand event you could write code in.  Not sure what you expect to do here.   If you want to manipulate other controls, or read in values from other controls, this is not possible since only the minimal information to process a POD request is sent to the server and the minimal information to render the node on the client is sent down.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Yes, the click on a node must manipulate other controls and I noted a callback only change dnnTree data (after one day to change dnn.controls.dnntree.js and dnnTree.vb, but I better anderstood the mechanism now) ...

So, I must use the postback to modify my page .

Thank you for help Jon.
