I am adding and updating user profile properties.  When I perform an update the following routine is ultimatly called. As shown in bold it passes the defaultvalue for the property.  Am I missing something or should it be passing the PropertyValue()?

Public Shared Sub UpdatePropertyDefinition(ByVal definition As ProfilePropertyDefinition)

provider.UpdatePropertyDefinition(definition.PropertyDefinitionId, _definition.DataType, definition.DefaultValue, definition.PropertyCategory, definition.PropertyName, definition.Required, definition.ValidationExpression, definition.ViewOrder, definition.Visible, definition.Length)

End Sub

Following is the my code...

Public Sub UpdateProperty(ByVal PortalId As Integer, ByVal sName As String, ByVal sval As String)

Dim profileProperties As ProfilePropertyDefinitionCollection = GetProperties(PortalId)

For Each objProperty As ProfilePropertyDefinition In profileProperties
If objProperty.PropertyName = sName Then
    objProperty.PropertyValue = sval
    ProfileController.UpdatePropertyDefinition(objProperty)
  End If
Next
ClearCachedProperties(PortalId)

End Sub
