Hey guys & gals!  I'm just getting grip with skining my own site, and it's not as scary as it first appears!

I have managed to use a jpg as the background to my site by changing background-image tag in the *.css file:

skinmaster {
 height: 100%;
 background-image: url(MyImage.jpg);

However, the image tends to tile and thus looks a bit pants.  Is there anyway to make it so that the background image displays just once?

Many thanks. Sam

in your CSS style, add "background-repeat:no-repeat"

Another question if you don't mind...

I now have a single image as the background, but when I scroll down and go beyond the bottom of the image, the background is the default white colour.  Is there anyway to make the background outside the bounds of the image a specified colour?

Many thanks!

in the CSS-StyleSheet, add "background-color:red". Please notice, that this might interfere with your beackground picif it has transparancy.
