I have been trying to get 4.3.4 source to compile without errors.  What are the proper steps to get this to work correctly if I do not want to use the .sln that DNN provides?   The .sln assumes that I will be using the ASP.net 1.1 way of doing things, I.e. using localhost/website.      I want to use 2.0's internal IIS, i.e. localhost:portnumber/website.  I have done this successfully with the DNN install release.

I opened up the sln, and of course it couldn't find the localhost website.  I added then website to my sln, and compiled ith errors.  I have even went as far as pointing all of the projects to dump their dll into the website bin.    I have added a reference to all the dll's for the website.  No luck.

The errors I see are missing classes/functions etc. That seems to be the case for almost all the errors.

Thanks for your time.

Chad

You can edit the .sln file in Notepad to change the website location. I think it is defined in two places in the file.
