I have some problems with Gallery in DNN 4.3.3. Gallery is completely installed and full of some pictures, but when I’m trying to “play” the gallery presentation it does not work. I get some error: Server Error in “/” Application (Runtime error). How can I fix it or it is possible to fix? Is this error on my site, or on the server?

Hello Wendy,

I'm not really sure I know what you mean by "Play" the Gallery presentation.  It's just a page of thumb nails and you should get either a popup or a new page with the full size version of the picture in it depending on your settings.

What version of Gallery are you using also and are there any errors in your log file?

Hello Adeian,

I know that the Gallery is just a page of thumb nails. But in my version I should get picture presentation – it means that after clicking on popup menu “presentation” (I’m not sure if I can translate it this way from Czech because I use the Czech language in DNN) the new window is opened and the pictures are showing one by one in full size in the same window. I use the Gallery which contains DNN 4.3.3.

And where I can find the log file, please?

Thanks

Wendy

Hi Wendy,

I got you now.  It's the slideshow.  I haven't heard of problems with this so we really should look at the log file to see if there are any errors there.  If you log in as the host user then click on the admin / log viewer link it will take you to a screen with the log entries. Probably the easiest thing would be to clear the entries (you will see the link at the bottom of the log page) and then try to run the slideshow.  Then go back and look for the errors in the log.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but for a long time the Server Error wasn't occured.  This is my log. Is this error caused by The Gallery module?

Thanks.

Wendy
